The Farm in Stillwater has been called the birthplace of red dirt music, and the Gypsy Cafe is the only standing relic of those early days. But it’s barely standing. Can you help us restore this place to its former glory?
The stage for countless jams over the past three decades, the Gypsy Cafe is also the home of our annual artist party for Bob Childers’ Gypsy Cafe. Our goal is to salvage and repurpose as many materials as possible, and then rebuild the Gypsy Cafe to its original design.
Our construction estimate is in the $15,000-$20,000 range, and hopefully less by sourcing donated materials and skilled labor. If you’re interested in helping with either materials or labor, contact Katie at email@example.com.
Any donation is appreciated! By donating at certain levels, you’ll be rewarded with special benefits:
$100: Invitation to our Halfway Home Party (on site when the construction is halfway complete. Date TBD)
$250: Invitation for two to our Ribbon Cutting Concert (on site when the construction is complete. Date TBD)
$500: Your name or company logo engraved on our “Friends of the Farm” plaque to be installed on site.
